ALDI Catonsville is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store manager in daily operations, drive sales growth, control expenses, and maintain customer satisfaction at the Catonsville location.

The role requires leadership, training of staff, adherence to ALDI policies, scheduling, and a focus on operating excellence. Starting wage is $26.50 per hour with a $1 increase in year two; average hours are 38 per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• At least 18 years old required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns with the store manager as needed.
• Leads and develops store personnel to achieve results and compliance with policies.
• Assists in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Leads store tours during interviews and provides hiring recommendations to the store manager.
• Trains and develops store personnel using company-provided training materials.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms; operate POS system.

Education
