Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development at our Fort Worth, Texas location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, supervise and train associates, help organize merchandise from delivery to floor, ensure safety and loss-prevention measures, and maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
