The world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace is coming to the Greater Philadelphia Area! Eataly will open in Fall 2025 in the King of Prussia Mall. Eataly offers authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafés, and to-go counters, a selection of high-quality Italian, local, and homemade products, and educational classes to enhance our guests' experience.

Job Description

The Store Operations Manager oversees Eataly’s grocery, fresh counters, and quick service restaurant operations. This leader supports strategic planning and is responsible for executing operational strategies. The manager analyzes data to drive sales, leads by example, and supports floor operations.

Reporting directly to the Director of Store Operations, the manager supervises Retail and QSR Managers, Service Leads, and hourly Associates.

• Directs and organizes store retail and QSR operations to maximize profitability while maintaining company standards and guest satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a high-performing team through sourcing, hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and retaining talent.
• Oversees daily operations, optimizes scheduling, and manages team deployment to minimize labor costs and maximize sales.
• Collaborates with managers to understand operational needs and enhance interdepartmental cooperation.
• Ensures consistent, high-quality service to all guests.
• Implements strategies related to pricing, merchandising, new product launches, and promotions to increase efficiency and sales.
• Manages merchandise planning, product rollouts, and phase-outs.
• Estimates food and beverage needs, manages procurement, and checks orders for compliance.
• Partners with senior leadership on QSR growth strategies.
• Prepares weekly updates and collaborates interdepartmentally to meet store goals.
• Assists with hiring, training, payroll, scheduling, evaluations, and employee relations.
• Handles incident investigations and resolutions.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years management experience in high-volume, fast-paced retail or QSR environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and business management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems
  • Experience with Italian products and wine
  • Knowledge of coffee, coffee production, and manual espresso machines
