Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations and drive the achievement of company goals. You will supervise customer service activities, assist with openings and closings, and support loss prevention and store maintenance.

In this role you will train and mentor associates, ensure safety and compliance, and implement programs from the Store Support Center. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work diverse hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor with customers and associates.
• Assist with opening and closing the store and with store operations.
