Job summary

Burberry seeks an Operations Manager for Macy's Herald Square in New York, responsible for managing all back-of-house store operations and ensuring excellent service to staff and external providers. You will safeguard processes, optimise stock use, and lead the stockroom team to uphold high standards and client experience.

Responsibilities include managing aftersales, FOH replenishment, and collaboration with Retail Standards, Asset/Profit Protection, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills; able to work in a busy team.
• 1-2 years of management experience required.
• SAP experience desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfort with technology and adopting new tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with procedures to streamline operations and safeguard the store.
• Efficiently use space and stock in back of house to maximise productivity and minimise loss.
• Lead the stockroom team and develop the back of house staff to improve standards and client experience.
• Manage aftersales processes (alterations, repairs, personalization) with tailors and vendors.
• Oversee FOH replenishment and ensure packaging and props support client experience.
• Coordinate with Retail Standards and Operations on deliveries, dispatches, facilities, and safety.
• Support Asset and Profit Protection to reduce shrinkage.
• Collaborate on inventory controls with marketing, client engagement, merchandising, and facilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleaning, maintenance, and Health & Safety."
• Manage the cash office and cash handling procedures.
