Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Store Director support role in Minnesota. You will ensure all departments are staffed, trained, and operating efficiently while monitoring profitability and expenses.

The role involves coordinating with the Store Director, managing scheduling, and delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates have a business/retail background, supervisory experience, and solid computer and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/admin or related field with equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years in retail grocery with increasing responsibility.
• At least one year in a supervisory or lead role, preferably retail.
• Proficient computer skills including email and spreadsheets.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure departments are staffed, trained and operating efficiently.
• Monitor purchasing, stocking, selling, payroll and expenses for profitability.
• Maintain store location, equipment and sanitation standards.
• Communicate and execute corporate plans with Store Director.
• Oversee scheduling and supervision of staff.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Maintain a clean and customer-friendly department.
• Understand products, pricing, preparation, and usage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with SpartanNash personnel across departments.
