Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking an Assistant Store Director in Vicksburg, MI to support the Store Director and lead store operations. You will help ensure departments are staffed, trained, and operating efficiently while maintaining profitability and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business or related field, several years in retail grocery with increasing responsibility, supervisory experience, and strong computer, accounting, and budgeting skills. Travel and adjustments may be limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years in a retail grocery environment with increasing responsibility.
• One year of supervisory or lead experience preferably in retail.
• Proficient computer skills including email and spreadsheets; able to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and ensure all departments are staffed, trained, and operating efficiently.
• Monitor financial aspects of purchasing, stocking, selling, payroll and expenses.
• Manage budgeting, staffing, facility maintenance and safety programs.
• Train staff to perform department activities and supervise scheduling.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, attractive store environment.
