Job summary

Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM Holdings, seeks an experienced store operations manager in Meyers, CA. This role directs sales, service, purchasing and manufacturing activities to maximize productivity and profitability, typically for locations with up to $15M in annual sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a related industry required.
• Knowledge of building materials, logistics and fleet management helpful.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates daily store activities. Resolves operating difficulties and implements resolutions.
• Assigns, instructs, trains and provides directions to managers and supervisors in the performance of their jobs.
• Reviews personnel assignments with managers and supervisors and makes assignments according to production needs.
• Monitors inventory levels to ensure material availability.
• Monitors sales activities to insure profitability and best sales advantages.
• Prepares budgets for the location and reviews variances with department supervisors.
