Job summary

ALDI Milwaukee is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store’s efficient operation, reporting to the Store Manager. The role emphasizes sales growth, expense control, and customer satisfaction while developing store personnel in line with ALDI’s values.

You will lead a team, manage scheduling, training, and compliance, and collaborate with partners to uphold store standards and achieve KPIs. This is a full-time, on-site role with 38 hours weekly in Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 18 years old required.
• Ability to lead store personnel and achieve goals.
• Travel to nearby stores for management coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the store manager.
• Lead and develop store personnel; communicate responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Assist with action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Lead store tours during interview events and provide hiring recommendations.
• Prepare weekly schedules in alignment with scheduling procedures.
• Ensure adherence to expense, inventory, cash handling, and merchandising standards.
• Maintain safe working environment and compliance with policies.
