Job summary

PetSmart’s Process Lead (Retail Operations Lead) has shared responsibility to drive operational excellence in our stores while upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. This role oversees merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, and opening/closing the store.

You will lead and develop associates, maintain a safe, organized environment, operate POS systems, and ensure a positive pet-parent experience with online orders that pick up in store or ship from

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications and clear written/verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide associates, delegate daily tasks, and support development.
• Execute merchandising strategies, manage inventory, and optimize displays.
• Operate POS systems, handle cash, and ensure policy compliance.
