Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a capable Store Manager for our Fort Worth, TX location. You will oversee daily store operations, coach Associates, and ensure outstanding customer service while maintaining company standards.

The role requires supervising staff, maximizing productivity, and adhering to payroll and scheduling processes. Evening and weekend availability is expected, with strong English communication and retail math skills.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and payroll-related tasks as required, including scheduling compliance and payroll reporting.
• Assist in analysis of store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
• Schedule and supervise Associates at registers, service desk, fitting rooms and sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment in line with company standards.
• Coach and supervise non-exempt Associates to deliver excellent customer service.
