Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Iowa LLC is seeking a part-time store associate in Gladbrook, IA. You will greet customers, help with merchandise selection, and process sales transactions using the POS system, while supporting daily store operations and inventory control.

You will also assist in deliveries, stock shelves, and help maintain store conditions and appearance. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with a focus on customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to store team on operating practices as directed.
• Greet and assist customers, answer inquiries, and resolve concerns.
• Increase sales through suggestive selling and promoting promotions.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store and positive image.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking shelves.
• Assist in asset protection and act as opening/closing authority when needed.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
