Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Iowa LLC in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions, and keep the store welcoming.

You will assist with stock, maintain a clean, safe environment, and support daily store operations, with focus on teamwork and excellent service. This role emphasizes physical tasks and professional conduct in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
