Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Kingston, RI is seeking a hospitality-focused manager to lead a diverse team (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew and Delivery Drivers). You will coach, develop staff, drive strong guest service and uphold store quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include coaching, inventory checks, local marketing drops and in-store recognition programs to boost sales. Requires 3+ years in restaurant/retail leadership, and Thu–Sun shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment.
• Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thu–Sun).
• Benevolent leadership style with a player-coach mentality for daily management.
• Innate sense of true hospitality and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Solid technical acumen with restaurant/retail software; proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams; prior ATS experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach and develop a diverse part-time hourly staff (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, Delivery Drivers).
• Lead service components including food quality, customer service, staff friendliness, and store cleanliness.
• Establish a culture of excellence prioritizing cookie quality, service and sales performance; support personal growth.
• Manage and audit inventory to maintain proper controls.
• Create and execute local marketing drops.
• Create and drive in-store recognition programs/contests.
