Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead a high-performing store team and drive top-line sales while upholding Ulta Beauty’s standards in guest service, inventory control, and process discipline.

The OM will manage realignments, planograms, and lifecycle processes, while coaching staff and ensuring compliance. A passion for operational excellence and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2–3+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Retail management: inventory, merchandising, service culture, and operational excellence.
• Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent; adapting to change and leading others.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to support scheduling and realignments for productivity.
• Review and act on financial and operational reporting, audits, and store performance.
• Lead and develop the store team through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policies, dress code, and SOPs; manage inventory and planograms.
