Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Operations Manager to lead store-level performance in Katy, TX. You will supervise daily execution across departments, maintain sales, service, safety standards, and translate strategic priorities into on-floor actions that drive results.

You'll partner with Store Directors and team leads to plan priorities, coach staff, and manage inventory flow, labor planning, and merchandising execution, with a path toward broader leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Led departments of up to 40 team members while achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to interpret operational and financial data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to complete required certifications, including Firearms Sales and Power Industrial Truck.
