Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Follow work processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
• Assist in planogram implementation and merchandise presentation per Store Manager guidance.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, and cash control procedures; authorize refunds/overrides and count tills.
• Assist with store management in Store Manager's absence.
