Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service leadership; greet customers, operate the cash register and scanner, and itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and control damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Assist with planograms and merchandise presentation as directed.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, key control, refunds/overrides, tills, and bank deposits.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
