Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an Operations Manager to play a hands-on role in delivering a strong store experience while building leadership capability and operational excellence. You will support daily execution across departments, ensuring sales, service, and safety standards are met and translate strategy into action on the sales floor.

You will work with store leaders to coach teams, plan priorities, and respond quickly to business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading departments of up to 40 team members while driving operational excellence and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to deliver sales, service, and safety standards.
• Coach team members and partner with store leaders to plan priorities.
• Monitor inventory flow and labor planning to optimize store performance.
