Job summary

Maverik West Memphis, AR is seeking an Assistant Manager (Operations) to help lead the team and support daily store operations. The role is full-time and cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store, with starting pay $18.50-$20.50 per hour and eligibility for a bonus program.

You’ll coach Team Members, drive a service-focused culture, and help ensure the store runs smoothly while upholding Maverik’s GET approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Flexible Schedule: 24/7 stores; may include nights, weekends, holidays.
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: engage effectively with Team Members and customers.
• Collected & Composed: stay calm under pressure while delivering service.
• Effective Problem Solving: recognize issues and create solutions.
• Experience: 1 year+ supervisory experience preferred.
• Food Safety Certification: must obtain/maintain required certification.

Responsibilities

• Champion GET: model greetings, engage customers, thank them, coach teammates.
• Lead by Example: jump in with the team to keep store and Food Service running smoothly.
• Team Development: train, mentor, and supervise all Team Members.
