Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of North Louisiana Inc is seeking an DGR Assistant Manager to work with the leadership team to execute store objectives and support the annual operating plan.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you will make decisions affecting customers, staff, operations, and compliance with company policies, while supporting Goodwill's mission to help people prepare for, find, and keep jobs.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Two (2) years of post-secondary education from an accredited college/university and one (1) year supervisory experience OR high school diploma/GED or equivalent and two (2) years experience in sales, retail or marketing and one (1) year supervisory experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possess a privately owned vehicle and valid license; forklift operator certification or ability to obtain within three months if required.
• Screenings: A background screening will be completed as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in executing store operational objectives in support of the annual operating plan.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, makes decisions in areas involving customers, team members, operations, planning, scheduling, performance appraisals, and policy compliance.
