Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive revenue, and uphold Goodwill’s mission.

The role emphasizes team development, donor and volunteer support, and growth opportunities for staff. You will handle scheduling, timecard management, cash handling, reporting, and product logistics, while training and supervising team members and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Employment offer contingent upon successful drug test and background check.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, timecard management, supply ordering, and maintenance reporting in coordination with the Store Manager.
• Oversee store branding, security, donation processing, product rotation, and janitorial upkeep in compliance with Goodwill policies.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and ensure accurate reporting (e.g., sales, donor counts, payroll, daily deposits).
• Support a positive customer and donor experience, conduct team meetings, and communicate agency directives.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive pricing; participate in Goodwill events and perform additional duties as needed.
