Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store. You will assist with supervising staff, merchandising, and deposits under the Store Manager, while supporting profitability and loss prevention.

This role includes stocking, cashier duties, and enforcing company policies. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential, as is prior retail experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service leadership and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for employees.
• Manage merchandise by stocking, restocking, and displaying planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cash handling and deposits.
• Support store operations in the manager's absence.
