Job summary

Forman Mills seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee all non-merchandising areas of the store, including backroom and front-end operations, HR/admin tasks, and payroll responsibilities. The Co-Manager acts in the Store Manager's absence and partners with the Store Manager to maintain staffing, budgets, and store presentation standards.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training, conducting audits, preventing shrink, and ensuring customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of management experience in a Big Box environment.
• Experience in Operations and Merchandising preferred.
• Strong leadership to recruit, develop and retain top performers.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgeted sales and KPIs.
• Manage weekly payroll within budget by scheduling effectively.
• Direct daily store operations including front end, backroom, and HR/admin functions.
• Conduct operational audits and ensure policy adherence.
• Recruit, hire, and train store personnel to build an A-team.
• Coach and motivate staff; address performance and policies with Store Manager].
• Ensure outstanding customer service and staff accountability.
