Job summary

Forman Mills in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Merchandising Manager to lead all merchandising operations within a group of departments. You will drive department layouts, signing standards, product features, and promo aisle setup, while overseeing freight flow, loss prevention, and maintenance to ensure assets meet company standards.

As the Manager on Duty, you will assist with HR tasks, hire and staff, counsel and develop team members, and help meet daily sales budgets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management, operations and merchandising experience in a big-box setting.
• Strong leadership and ability to recruit, develop and retain top performers.
• Proficient with POS software and timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgeted sales and drive KPIs daily.
• Direct daily activities across departments including merchandising and stock flow.
• Train and develop department leads and team members.
• Ensure flawless execution of initiatives: ad sets, markdowns, freight, weekend readiness.
