Job summary

Forman Mills is seeking a Merch Manager to lead merchandising operations across assigned departments within the store. You will oversee department layouts, product features, promos, and loss prevention, reporting to the Store Manager.

The role involves managing daily activities, training department leads, and ensuring all company initiatives are executed while delivering superior customer service and achieving budgets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management, operations and merchandising experience in a big-box environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to recruit, develop and retain top performers.
• Experience with financial and retail management, improving store metrics.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgeted daily sales and KPIs.
• Organize daily activities including department merchandising and ad sets.
• Train and develop department leads and staff.
• Open and close the store as assigned.
• Ensure execution of company initiatives (ad sets, markdowns, freight, detail recovery).
• Maintain outstanding customer service and deter theft.
