Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Leader to oversee overall store operations across food and general merchandise.

You will direct planograms, staffing, training, and development to deliver an exceptional shopping experience while driving profitability and customer satisfaction. You will lead performance management for leaders and team members, attract and retain talent, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years in retail/grocery/operations management or customer service.
• 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen and proactive/creative thinking required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations across food and general merchandise areas.
• Lead planograms, seasonal resets, and endcaps; manage staffing to forecasted needs.
• Develop talent within the store and drive customer experience and profitability.
• Communicate performance metrics and foster Meijer culture with DEI focus.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company merchandising plans.
