Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Director to lead overall store operations, driving customer satisfaction and profitability. You will direct the team across food and general merchandise, manage staffing, merchandising plans, and community engagement to uphold the Meijer brand.

The role requires strong leadership, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 5+ years in retail or related fields. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with opportunities for career growth within the Meijer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of retail/grocery/operations management/customer service experience.
• 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• A passion to lead those in span of care while providing industry leading service.

Responsibilities

• Overall operations responsibility across food and general merchandise areas.
• Leadership to manage planograms, seasonal resets, and endcaps.
• Engage team members to provide the best possible shopping experience.
• Develop talent and retain/recruit to meet staffing needs.
• Ensure stores are merchandised to maximize sales and profitability.
• Communicate financial performance and customer feedback to drive results.
• Lead daily huddles and uphold Meijer brand values.
