Break Time Assistant Managers play a key role in Missouri MFA Petroleum’s Break Time Convenience Stores, supporting store operations in the manager’s absence and coaching team members. The role emphasizes customer service, merchandising, and daily financial oversight to help control costs.

Qualified candidates are 18+, with availability for all shifts, a valid license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance to transport deposits.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Ability to perform basic math and make change.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers.
• Assist in all aspects of store operations including reporting, banking, inventory, and upkeep.
• Support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and stock management.
• Supervise shifts and train new employees.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Understand store finances and help control expenses.
• Assist with recruiting and team development.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash accurately.
• Adhere to company policies and store regulations.
