Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, and customer service across our locations in the United States.

You will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state labor laws. A High School diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred, with retail management experience valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two times per week.
• Review operating statements to identify trends, profitability, and shrink; manage expenses and inventory planning.
• Ensure merchandise is presented per the company's standards and pricing signage.
