Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong math and cash handling skills; cash accountability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish preferred in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws; ensure staffing.
• Provide training, evaluate performance, counsel and terminate as needed.
• Open and close the store as required, maintain staffing.
• Review sales, profitability, inventory, and in-stock targets weekly.
• Ensure accurate merchandising, pricing, and signage.
• Maintain cash controls and store security practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
