GPM Investments in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 552 at fas mart. This role drives daily store operations, delivers great customer service, and leads a team on second or third shifts.

You will manage cash handling, inventory, training, and scheduling while upholding safety and brand standards. Open availability, reliable transportation, and a Food Safety Certification are required to succeed in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.

Qualifications

• Open availability to weekends and holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to perform physical tasks.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must have or be able to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean store including pumps and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
