GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for its high-energy convenience store in Illinois. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register, and lead a team focused on customer service and store success across second or third shifts.

The role requires open availability on weekends and holidays, a 21+ age, strong English communication, basic math, and willingness to obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass background and drug checks.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
