Job summary

Walmart Tyler, TX is seeking a store operations leader who can coach teams, apply training, and drive store performance. You will oversee merchandising, customer service, and community initiatives while ensuring compliance with company standards and Open Door practices.

You'll manage budgets, staffing, and development of hourly associates, delivering a high-quality customer experience and sustaining profitable growth through data-driven decisions and a culture of belonging.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Firearms CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required where applicable.
• Associates must attend all job trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U.
• Bellevue University is listed as preferred qualification.
• Experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring/firing.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and listening to associates; communicating store direction.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing PL, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Oversees staffing, training, recognition, and belonging mindset; recruits to meet staffing needs.
• Ensures compliance with policies and supports ethics, integrity and Open Door Policy.
