Qualifications

• Retail or grocery store management experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling and cash handling
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation
• Other duties as assigned
