Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring for a Store Operations role in Marshall, MI. The position directs store activities in the absence of senior management to maximize efficiency and profitability and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, handling cash operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining store appearance, and supporting guest experience guidelines. Previous retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail or related experience.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associates' adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier and courtesy desk; address customer concerns efficiently.
• Familiar with store layout and safety equipment.
• Conduct regular area inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• In absence of leadership, manage time clock maintenance.
• May close the store (lock doors, turn off lights, arm security).
• Assist customers with product locations and maintain clean, stocked store.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety and guest experience guidelines.
