Job summary

Walgreens seeks a store leadership professional to oversee customer service associates, front-end and pharmacy operations, and overall store performance. The role partners with the Store Manager to execute company strategies and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, coaching staff, managing scheduling, inventory, and compliance, and enabling career development within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or completed Walgreens Community Internship Program or HS diploma with 2 years in supervisory role
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills
• Completion of Store Manager training LEAP or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to relocate to a different Walgreens store if promotion is offered

Responsibilities

• Supervises the operation of the store and team members, including daily task assignments and scheduling
• Coaches and develops team on customer service and front-end/pharmacy operations
• Collaborates with external partners to support Walgreens store initiatives
• Uses data and KPIs to drive improvements and business deliverables
• Manages store cash handling, inventory, and bookkeeping activities
• Ensures compliance with policies, laws, and safety requirements
