Job summary

Weis Markets in the United States is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations, supervise department managers, and maintain strong customer service. You will drive merchandising, inventory control, and staff development to achieve sales and profitability targets.

As Manager on Duty, you’ll ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and company policies while coaching associates for advancement and delivering excellent shopper experiences across departments.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Two years of relevant retail experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Manager.
• Executes weekly and seasonal merchandising plans with price accuracy.
• Manages inventory levels, CGO, and supply quantities.
• Oversees Fresh and Center Store inventory processes.
• Trains and develops associates to resolve customer issues.
• Conducts daily huddles to discuss priorities, goals and changes.
• Reviews department schedules to meet business needs and payroll goals.
• Oversees assignments to maximize profits and utilize talents.
• Ensures compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
