Goodwill Industries Of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina, Inc. is seeking a full-time, non-exempt store associate to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations of a high-volume retail variety store in Irmo, SC.

The role covers supervising staff, cash handling, inventory and reporting duties, and maintaining store standards while promoting Goodwill’s mission and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in developing and operating the store to maximize retail market share and donations per annual budget.
• Supervise associates and clients in day-to-day operations of the retail variety store.
• Handle store management responsibilities in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Operate the cash register, validate payment methods, balance and count cash drawers.
• Process daily bank deposits, handle returns and merchandise credits, validate checks.
• Maintain inventories, weekly schedules, reconcile receipts, and prepare daily reports.
• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties asScheduled and assigned.
• Ensure compliance with established Goodwill policies and procedures.
• Work with store team to maximize growth of the location.
• Work in other locations as needed.
• Adhere to attendance policies and LP policies and procedures.
• Assist manager in training of all associates.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
