Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Key Carrier for the HomeGoods Avon, CT location. This role alternates with the Coordinator duties and requires open availability including nights and weekends.

You will lead in-store operations, coach Associates, and ensure exemplary customer service in a fast-paced off-price retail environment. Responsibilities include managing coverage, enforcing policies, and partnering with management to meet goals while upholding safety and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience or equivalent
• 6 months leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to coach and provide feedback
• Flexible schedule incl. nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive customer experience and acts as Manager on Duty
• Maintains store operations and coverage
• Communicates priorities and provides progress updates to management
• Provides coaching to Associates and supports training needs
• Ensures opening/closing procedures follow company guidelines
• Promotes safety, shrink reduction, and loyalty programs
• Supports and executes company policies and labor laws
