Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies family, seeks a Key Carrier to support store leadership and operations. This role alternates between Coordinator and Key Carrier, focusing on coaching, customer service, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
• Communicates priorities to management and Associates; provides progress updates.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
