Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations with a leadership role while coordinating with the Coordinator function. The role requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and emphasizes exceptional customer service.

Key Carriers will alternate with the Coordinator role, ensuring coverage, coaching Associates, and upholding store procedures and safety guidelines across all tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months leadership experience
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates with management and Associates when setting priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
