Job summary

SpartanNash in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Store Operations Associate to support daily shop performance and guest experience. You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked store and assist customers at the register while upholding safety standards.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing skills, and reliability. Past retail experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a People First culture.

Qualifications

• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associate’s adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier register and courtesy counter desk and handle customer concerns efficiently.
• Understand store layout and safety equipment locations.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• In the absence of management, manage time clock maintenance.
• May close store: lock doors, turn off lights, arm store.
• Know product locations to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, well-stocked store.
• Follow PPE, safety, and cleaning guidelines.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
