Job summary

SpartanNash, operating as Family Fare in Bismarck, ND, seeks a store-operations leader to direct activities in the absence of store leadership, ensuring efficient operations and financial performance. You'll oversee policy adherence, cashier duties, safety compliance, and store presentation.

The role requires strong reading, writing, math, and communication skills, with a preference for retail experience. Excellent guest service and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail or related field preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and customer-focused.
• Suggestive selling and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor associate adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier register and courtesy counter desk and address customer concerns.
• Be familiar with store layout and safety equipment.
• Conduct regular area inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• Responsible for time clock maintenance in absence of leadership.
• May close store and ensure security and shutdown procedures.
• Know product locations to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well stocked store.
• Follow PPE, safety, and cleaning expectations.
• Follow guest experience guidelines and assist other departments as needed.
