Job summary

Yesway is seeking an on-site, full-time Store Level position in Mount Vernon, TX. You will assist the Store Manager with training, supervise staff, schedule shifts, handle customer concerns, and ensure compliance with regulations while managing merchandising and end-of-day procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of mandatory certification testing. Prior supervisory experience in fast-paced retail or food service is preferred. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
