Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed Division Management Training Program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Supervisory/retail budgeting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in creating a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Identify opportunities in-store and develop action plans to implement solutions.
• Achieve/exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, wage budgets and profit budgets.
• Drive sales with department leaders to maximize profits, reduce shrink and improve department contribution.
• Assist in regular store-level financial discussions including budgets and goals.
• Coordinate with field staff to ensure division merchandising plans are executed.
• Promote relationships with local community organizations and unions when applicable.
• Provide feedback to managers on effectiveness of merchandising and programs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, development and associate relations; reduce turnover.
