Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments as needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales stats and expenses to drive profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure high-quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual, including helping customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold company policies and standards per manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls and reporting potential fraud.
