Job summary

FiveStar is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager and help oversee the store’s day-to-day operations, including accounting, marketing, customer service, HR, and food service.

The role requires leading the team, ensuring policy compliance, managing inventory, and stepping in for the GM when needed. A high school diploma and retail management experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of retail management experience and/or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in customer service, management, and food service responsibilities; hands on in daily operations.
• Partner with FiveStar team to provide customers with service as outlined by company policies.
• Assist in training store team in a timely and thorough manner.
• Educate store team on policies and communications.
• Assist General Manager in addressing store issues for long-term resolution.
• Merchandise and ensure adequate inventory levels; evaluate displays, pricing, signage, and stock.
