Job summary

Dollar Tree in Enfield, Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. This full-time role supports daily tasks, trains Store Associates, and ensures a clean, well-organized sales floor and stockroom.

You will supervise staff, handle opening and closing procedures, oversee merchandising, and maintain compliance with policies and safety guidelines in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Protect and secure store assets and follow safety guidelines.
• Supervise and train Store Associates; ensure a positive environment.
