Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role covers merchandising, opening/closing duties, and ensuring a clean, well-stocked store while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

You will assist with directing store activities, train associates, and help process directives, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support in processing directives, inventory and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and payroll, scheduling, and deposits.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized store areas.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
